My approach considers the whole body.
Which means a variety of things:
I like to learn about how you sleep, eat, move, and the little things in your day-to-day that shape your lifestyle.
Together, we’ll explore which self-care practices feel best for you and find simple ways to weave them into your daily routine.
I also believe in teamwork—so when it’s helpful, I encourage collaboration with your doctor, chiropractor, dietitian, or anyone else on your care team, making sure you feel fully supported.
At the heart of it all, the goal is to create a healthier, more loving connection between your mind and your body.
I use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) along with Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help you process past distress or persistent negative beliefs. Through these theories, I’ll help you understand you are a Self, composed of many parts that have feelings, needs and roles in your life. I can help you free these parts from feelings, memories, and behaviors that no longer serve you. I will help you heal those unmet past needs to be seen, heard, loved and understood. (you can read more about this below)
How it will feel working together.
In our sessions, I keep things casual so it feels like we’ve known each other for a while. I’ll ask about what’s been going on for you—how you’re experiencing it, how your weekend went, or whether you made progress on that project you’ve been dreaming about. I genuinely want to know how you’re doing.
I’m not afraid to lean into the hard or awkward conversations, and I’ll also be honest when I notice you’re holding yourself back—or remind you to celebrate the wins you might be overlooking.
Together, we’ll sort through the different pieces of your life and explore how they connect. From there, we’ll look at the bigger picture—what’s been holding you back—and create practical steps to help you move forward.
I’ll guide you in reconnecting with your body, learning how to feel more fully, and releasing the pain it may still be carrying from the past. With small, achievable steps, we’ll piece everything back together to build the life you imagine—one filled with freedom, joy, indulgence, and fun.
EMDR can be utilized for trauma and changes the way we perceived the event. EMDR is a targeted evidenced based modality and can treat issues such as anxiety, depression, PTSD and repeating patterns you may experience. Issues such as speech presentation, presenting for exams, improving your coping when faced with challenges, and letting go of issues from the past.
EYE MOVEMENT DESENSITIZATION & REPROCESSING (EMDR)
Internal Family Systems is a powerfully transformative, evidence-based model of therapy. IFS believes the mind is naturally multiple and that is a good thing. Our inner parts contain valuable qualities and our core Self knows how to heal, allowing us to become integrated and whole. In IFS all parts are welcome. IFS is a movement. A new, empowering paradigm for understanding and harmonizing the mind and larger human systems. One that can help people heal and helps the world become a more compassionate place.

HOLISTIC SOMATIC HEALING
Using the body as our guide, this type of healing teaching awareness of body sensations. Often times emotion are stored in the body. When we have experienced difficult things, it perhaps was not safe to be connected to our bodies. Holistic somatic healing develops a re-connection with our bodies in a safe, empowering way. This allows our body’s organic intelligence to offer up awareness, insight and repair. Through this work, you may come home to your body again, feeling reconnected with physical sensations and emotions, identifying needs and feeling states.
